GSBS conducted the planning of this 13-acre site as well as the 250,000 s.f. building design for Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Utah’s Corporate Headquarters (RBCBS). The design is two buildings bridged by a connecting atrium that serves as a lobby for the facility. The facility contains office and meeting space as well a major MIS Computer Center, day care facility, fitness facility, a food service cafeteria, and a 400 car parking structure with an additional 500 cars on grade. Energy conservation measures include high performance glass, occupancy sensors, indirect T-8 lighting, and a high performance mechanical system.
