The project features a stunning light well which was cut through four floors and provides a place for circulation on a glass stairway.

2004, American Concrete Institute - Boyer Business Depot Ogden Freezer – Concrete tilt-up warehouse facilities, this one designed to house an extraordinarily large freezer building for a cookie making company.
2003, Utah Heritage Foundation Award - Alta Club Interiors – A sensitive interior design for the historic Salt Lake City private club constructed in 1883.
2003, AIA Utah Merit Award - St. Anthony of the Desert Catholic Church – A humble, passive solar church for a rural Utah community
2003, AIA Utah Merit Award - Emigration Township Passive Solar House – This house was designed according to LEED™ principles. It has gained national recognition for its sustainable design approach.
2003, AIA Utah Honor Award - AlphaGraphics International Headquarters at the Brooks Arcade – An Historic Renovation and Multiuse addition including underground parking, at grade commercial, above grade office and roof top residential. The project included careful preservation of a beautiful historic building that was at risk of demolition for over 30 years.
2002, AIA Utah Merit Award - Wallace F. Bennett Federal Building Seismic Upgrade and Improvements – A seismic retrofit of a dilapidated and dangerous 1960s era federal office building that turned it into a beautiful, environmentally responsible, and GSA Design Excellence, addition to urban Salt Lake City.

2001, AIA Utah Honor Award - Utah Olympic Speed Skating Oval – The Oval was a LEED 1.0 pilot project, one of the first LEED Certified Buildings in the world and helped define the LEED building rating system we use today.
2001, Utah Masonry Council, Merit Award - Emigration Township Passive Solar Home
1999, AIA Utah Merit Award - Henderson Building Interiors – GSBS acquired this downtown building in an area of Salt Lake City transitioning from run down warehouse district to popular urban neighborhood. We turned a restaurant/brewery into an architectural office that takes full advantage of the large windows that front the entire building and the existing skylights. Employees enjoy natural daylight, high ceilings and a wonderful sense of history.

1995, Division of Facilities Construction Management, Design For Life Award - Consolidated Maintenance Facility at the Tooele Army Depot – This facility set a new standard for design in maintenance facilities.
1995, AIA Utah Merit Award - Spanish Fork Water Park – The AIA jury described the massing of the building with its saw tooth edge to the sky, as "lively and spirited" and felt it added to the vitality of the site.
1995, AIA Utah Merit Award - St. Thomas More Catholic Church – "If all architects would take the time to study their buildings for controlling light and taking advantage of light, the world would be a better place," noted Bill Valentine, of HOK, juror.
